Our Aircraft

The Ikarus C42B is an excellent training aircraft. It is very stable and has excellent slow handling characteristics. It is probably the UK’s most popular microlight training aircraft because of this. Ours have a 4-stroke Rotax 912  aero engines which produces 80/100hp. Combining this power with the aircraft’s light weight, we get great performance! We use the C42s for the majority of our flying training as well as for trial flights.

The Flight Design CTSW is the newest addition to our fleet. It is an extremely versatile aircraft that is capable of a 125 mph cruise and has a climb rate well in excess of 1000 feet per minute at maximum take off weight. The CTSW represents the pinnacle of modern light sport aviation. The airframe has been designed to incorporate many of the low-drag properties that are commonplace on gliders. The aircraft has negative flaps to increase its cruise speed range. Best of all ours has a Dynon Skyview glass cockpit!       We are currently using the aircraft for type training, navigation training, biennial instructional flights and trial flights.
